A member of the 1891 National League Champion Boston Beaneaters with John Clarkson and Kid Nichols, outfielder George Rooks is presented on this 19th century N172 Old Judge card, graded SGC 30 GOOD 2. While the typical back discoloration limits the grade, the central image is unusually bold and well-centered for the issue. A far sharper card from an eye-appeal standpoint than from the technical grade.
