It's one of the toughest issues to find in any condition, and of the 186 examples from the entire series that have been graded by SGC, only 4 have graded higher than this amazing SGC 60 EX 5 card of California League pitcher Pete Meegan. The centering is admirable for the issue but the real star here is the central image, loaded with intense color that has held up miraculously for 130 years. The blank white reverse shows no more than minor discoloration on the bottom half. A truly rare 19th century card is extremely high grade for the issue.
