Here's Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers on a solid N172 Old Judge card, cataloged as an 1887 issue but almost certainly an 1889 product given the copyright date and the Bostons team. 1889 saw Big Dan lead the league with a .373 batting average, as his Beaneaters finished second to the New York Giants by just one game. This example has been graded EX/MT 6 by PSA, due to light, uniform peripheral wear, but importantly, the image is bold and extremely well-focused. An important 19th century baseball card depicting one of the games earliest stars, waiting to be added to your world-class collection!
