Known as "Gentleman Jim" and the only man who ever defeated the great John L. Sullivan, James Corbett is depicted on this relic from the 19th century. This cabinet card is VG/EX to EX overall with a clearly visible image of "James J. Corbett Champion of the World." Considered by many to be a boxing pioneer that transformed the sport from a brawling event to "The Sweet Science."
