Just missing the mark for an EX 5 designation from PSA but clearly superior to an ordinary VG-EX example, the Newport Beach grading authority assigned this T206 portrait variation of Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings a VG-EX+ 4.5 assessment. The vibrant background pigments are appropriate, given the colorful nature of Jennings and his famous antics in the third base coaching box, and borders appear clean and blemish-free.
