By 1912, the T206 series had run its course, but a new concept in baseball cards took rise for consumers of Hassan tobacco known as the "triple folder." Utilizing much of the same colorful artwork displayed in the gold-bordered T205 series, of which Hassan used for advertising, the new T202 collection was larger in size to accommodate two separate player cards, connected by a large black and white action shot in the center. With this new dual-player card combo, the 132-panel set allows for five different single card examples with Ty Cobb, eight with Christy Mathewson, and two with Walter Johnson. It's one of the most difficult collections to put together in any grade, but this near-complete set, all SGC graded, needs just three cards for completion (two O'Leary/Cobb and a Jennings/Cobb) and is impressively high grade overall.
