Snapped during the 1931 exhibition season, the great Babe Ruth is struck out by Chattanooga Lookouts female pitcher Jackie Mitchell in this 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" original type I photo. Other than what appears to be a partial ink fingerprint mark in between Ruth and the catcher, above their heads, the photo presents extremely well, and the reverse displays an N.E.A. stamp dated April 7, 1931.
