Two of the most prominent athletes of the 1930s, Max Schmeling and Babe Ruth, were photographed side by side for the production of this Bulgaria Sport Photos card, graded PSA 2. With solid above-grade corners, near-perfect centering, and a crisp, clear image, perhaps the clue to the befuddling technical grade lies in the colloquial German scripted on the reverse.
