A long-time favorite among vintage collectors, the 1933 Delong series has withstood the test of time, as has the featured subject Hall of Famer Pie Traynor. Traynor played his entire career with the Pittsburgh Pirates and is often cited as the greatest third baseman in baseball history. The narrow borders make accurate centering a tough task, but the bold central image color and consistent EX characteristics make it a very admirable SGC 60 EX 5 specimen.
