Other than the quartet of Babe Ruth cards in the series, no issue epitomizes the brilliance of the 1933 Goudey series better than the batting pose on card #92 Lou Gehrig. The featured example boast near-perfect centering with a deep robin's egg blue background surrounding the pinstriped slugger. The resolution and focus are prideful and elevate the colors while each of the four corners shows the whipping of stands expected of the impressive mid-grade. The surface is equally commensurate with the grade with no apparent issues and the reverse is splendidly printed and offers a clean stain-free appearance.
