The 1933 Goudey Gehrig with his swinging pose against a bright blue backdrop is an icon in the series, but with Babe Ruth going from four cards to none in the 1934 Goudey set,
the key to the release is card #37, the famous yellow-backed offering of Lou Gehrig. Presented is a proud specimen of the aforementioned card, having passed through the rigorous grading gauntlet at PSA to emerge with a PSA 5 designation. Reasonably well-centered for the grade and issue, favoring the southeast a bit, this hobby favorite displays brilliant background colors and a strong registration of "The Iron Horse's" image. Corners show uniform moderate rounding which hardly affects the overall visual appeal. The reverse boasts bright green lettering on the visibly vintage stock with no significant liabilities. Highly appealing for the grade, and worthy of consideration!
