Nonetheless, there he is, alongside fellow Hall of Famer Rabbit Maranville as well as Marty McManus and Ed Brant, all members of the Boston Braves. The image of the Bambino is from the earlier Goudey issues when he was a Yankee, but this card, which would be the last of his issued during his playing days, lists him with his new team. The offered example has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, and shows near-perfect centering amidst the impossibly thin borders, and color retention is prime. This issue remains rather affordable, but don't be surprised if popularity and demand surge in the not-too-distant future.
