Knute Rockne is long-revered as the greatest college football head coach of all-time, posting a 105-12-5 record with 6 national championships and 5 undefeated seasons at Notre Dame. Shortly after Rockne was recognized in the 1933 Sport Kings series, he made his appearance in the 1935 National Chicle set and the offered specimen is one of the strongest we've seen, sans the clear centering shift to the left. Outstanding color and NM/MT endpoints pace this beauty; a fine example for any mid-grade collection.
