The New York Yankees almost had a monopoly on superstar players ....almost. The crosstown rival Giants had a home run masher of their own in Mel Ott and this example of Ott's 1939 Play Ball card has received a grade of PSA 8 but, in our opinion, deserves more. Near perfectly centered with a clean central image and endpoints that lobby for MINT status, it's one of the finest examples you'll ever see in a NM/MT holder.
