As the last mainstream series of the pre-war era, the 1941 Play Ball series has its fair share of diamond legends and Carl Hubbell is one of them. "King Carl" is depicted on this PSA 7 specimen, shifted toward the upper right with plenty of vivid colors, down to the green pigment of the grass and the bold red color of his long sleeves. The reverse, as usual, is lightly toned with no significant blemishes.
