A sublime image of "The Iron Horse" graces this well-centered example from the underrated 1948 Swell Sports Thrills series. The keen-edged corners appear to be a little better than you'd expect for a PSA 7 grade. A wonderful, upper-grade example of Lou Gehrig that comes in considerably less pricey than one of his Goudey issues.
