Instantly recognized by any advanced baseball card enthusiast as the premier rookie card of the post-war era, featured is the debut card of the great Mickey Mantle, graded PSA 5. A horizontal stunner that offers a clean look at the 19 year old from Commerce, Oklahoma in a spring training pose, with centering that is mildly shifted to the horizontal top edge while the right side corners display as superior to the grade. The color as well as the registration are outstanding and contribute to making this a thoroughly pleasing icon of the hobby. The reverse displays some slight toning (a common trait) that does not negatively impact the appearance of the card.
