This PSA 5 example of Hank Aaron's famous 1954 Topps rookie card is a nice addition to any mid-grade set or for the collector that appreciates one of Topps' greatest achievements. Other than the centering, which is shifted moderately to the right, the card possesses qualities ranging mostly from EX/MT to NM/MT. The corners and edges, with an enticing rough-cut on both the left and right side, are more in line with EX/MT to NM specimens. But the really alluring characteristic of this card is the central image, an amazingly clean surface that allows the boldness of the pumpkin orange backdrop and the deep blue of the Braves cap to project forth in perfect clarity. If you're willing to sacrifice perfect centering for many other above-grade attributes, this is an extremely satisfying card for the grade.
