Taking a similar approach to the 1955 All-American football set as they did with their inaugural baseball card issue, Topps decided to bypass the superstars of the set and handed the card #1 slot to lesser known Herman Hickman. And like Pafko's 1952 Topps card, Hickman's pasteboard is tougher to find in high-grade. But this PSA 8 example is noticeably high-end for the assessment and an excellent way to start off your collection.
