The 1967 season was when Tony Perez emerged as a star, pounding out 26 homers while driving in 102 runs and batting .290 for the up and coming Cincinnati Reds. The 25-year old Perez is featured with bold color and outstanding clarity on this 1967 Topps card, a strong MINT example for a top-ranked collection. Solid centering an bonafide MINT endpoints contribute to the elite assessment. One of the more difficult short-prints in the '67 collection.
