Along with the rookie card of Tom Seaver, the 1967 Topps debut card of Hall of Famer Rod Carew highlights the expansive 1967 Topps set, though both are extremely difficult in MINT grade. Both Seaver and Carew went on to win their respective league's Rookie of the Year honor with Carew garnering 19 of the 20 votes. There's just one GEM MINT card on record at PSA out of almost 2,500 submissions, so it would be wise for any set-builder trying to move their collection up the PSA Set Registry rankings to secure this marvelous PSA 9 offering, which is virtually perfect save for the slightest movement toward the right horizontal edge. Each endpoint and edge barely shows even a speck of imperfection at any point, upholding the stringent standards of MINT qualifications with pride, while the central image boasts outstanding registration and bold red and yellow support colors. An extremely import rookie card that rates near the very top of the PSA food chain.
