You might think that due to the high-gloss and black edges of the 1971 Topps set, PSA 10 specimens are extremely rare. You'd be correct. There are only 167 cards in the entire 1971 Topps series that have earned a grade of GEM MINT from PSA, or roughly one out of every 1,500 submissions. Now consider that the GEM MINT specimen offered here is of Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, one of just three to land PSA's highest grade. The centering is perfect, and even under a 16x loupe, you won't find anything more than a fleck or two of chipping along the solid black edges and endpoints.
