Mile High Card Company is proud to present one of the most comprehensive collections of coveted Michael Jordan cards ever displayed in a single auction. And while all of them have the potential to be very lucrative investments, the featured card might very well top the list as the most significant of cards devoted to Michael Jordan; the 2004-05 Upper Deck Exquisite Limited Logos Auto Patch card. Originally sold as a box containing a single pack of five cards for $500 each, 2004 UD Exquisite packs now command in the tens of thousands, making them the Rolls Royce of basketball packs. While the potential rookie card pulls were no match for the previous years haul of LeBron, Wade, and Carmelo, the collection did offer the debut card of Dwight Howard, JR Smith, Devin Harris, Shaun Livingston, and Trevor Ariza in addition to the ultra-rare jersey/auto combo of Michael Jordan offered here. The featured card comes from the Limited Logos subset, sporting a great headshot of "His Airness" at the top, a large piece of game-used uniform that carries all three colors of the Chicago Bulls jersey, and a Michael Jordan autograph along the bottom of the card that has received a perfect 10 GEM MINT judgment from PSA. The reverse of the card has a paragraph that goes into detail, outlining exactly what the card and that it was signed in the presence of an Upper Deck representative, but you really don't need to go past the bold "CONGRATULATIONS!" above it to understand what a tremendous find the fortunate person who opened the pack had. While even the 90 base cards in the set are exclusive and pricey, numbered to 99 for some rookies and 225 for veteran players, this Michael Jordan specialty card is one of only 50 produced. The card is graded PSA 8 and presently stands as the only graded example on record at the PSA pop report, further evidence as to its ultra-scarcity. There are many specialty cards of Michael Jordan that were produced during his tenure as "the greatest of all-time", some bearing jersey swatches, some bearing autographs, and like this card, displaying both.
