"There's nothing wrong with your TV set. Do not attempt to adjust your picture." Running from 1963-65, "The Outer Limits" opened with that ominous warning and was kind of like a monster filled version of The Twilight Zone, with each series resurrected in a more contemporary form years later. And much like the iconic Star Trek franchise that arrived a few years later, The Outer Limits didn't have much rating success but acquired a cult following several years after its departure. During the series' second season, Topps issued a collection under the pseudonym Bubbles Inc., a 50-card set notorious for condition problems due to the jet black borders (only 4 PSA 10 grades out of over 5,000 submissions) and a score of short prints. While one of the most popular non-sports collections to this day, very few examples of a five-cent wrapper or display box can be found and unopened packs, if there are any still out there, command enormous prices. But what we have here is one of the true grand prizes of the illustrious "Beer Box Find," a full unopened wax box from the 1964 Topps Outer Limits collection. Authenticated and sealed with the BBCE label, these 24 NM to MINT packs have earned approval from Steve Hart of Baseball Card Exchange, the leading authority of unopened material. There are few, if any, complete post-war wax boxes of non-sports material that can challenge this incredible find!
