One of the rarest of all Ty Cobb issues, "The Georgia Peach" joins Mathewson, Wagner, Chance, Chase and Lajoie in the seldom seen 1911 M110 Sporting Life cabinet set. Even among that group of baseball royalty, Cobb sat on the throne as he finished the 1911 season leading the league in runs, hits, doubles, triples, RBI and stolen bases while winning the batting title with a .420 average. This one is graded SGC 10 POOR 1 due to pinholes in the corners and the center of the top border but maintains a perimeter strong enough for VG/EX to EX consideration while the image of Cobb is truly remarkable. With fewer examples on record than even the iconic T206 Wagner card, this beauty should certainly find a place in an advanced collection, likely one on the PSA Player Registry.
