Not many photos of Shoeless Joe Jackson with other members of the infamous "Black Sox" scandal can still be found today, but this image of Jackson with co-conspirator Hap Felsch is a truly fantastic piece that marks a dark moment in baseball history. Measuring 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" with the upper right corner cut, the original type I photo captures the two men in a 1924 civil court case when they sued the Chicago White Sox for back pay. The P & A photo stamp and teletype caption are on the reverse.
