After his banishment from major league baseball, Shoeless Joe Jackson kicked around with several semi-pro teams. The featured original type I news service photo (The New York World) is stamped July 3, 1922 on the reverse and shows Shoeless Joe ready to take his cuts, wearing a cap with a "P" on it. Several notations are made on the reverse and the photo is irregularly cut to a size of about 6 3/4" x 7" overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
