1800s Syracuse Baseball Town Team Type I Original Photograph

Mounted on a thick cardboard backing and ready to be framed, this ancient snapshot featured members from a Syracuse baseball team sometime in the late 1800s. An amazingly sharp image for the technology of the time, the squad poses in front of a building with most wearing their full uniform. The photo measures 9 1/2" x 7 3/4" and is slightly larger when adding in the mounting, which shows some water spotting on the reverse. A fantastic piece of early baseball history.
