Ty Cobb was but 22 years old in 1909 but was already closing in on his third consecutive American League batting title. What's more impressive though is that "The Georgia Peach" would rattle off twelve batting crowns before his time on the diamond was done, finishing second in the standings four other times. So it's no surprise that there was plenty of demand for Ty Cobb souvenir items like this four-page booklet that reveals photos of Cobb on the front and back covers. A bold black fountain pen ink signature reading "Very Truly, Ty Cobb" is placed along the fold. The book measures 10" x 13" when open and is framed to a size of about 16" x 13." Pinholes are present in the upper left and right corners. LOA from JSA.
