Slightly better centered and considerably stronger around the edges and at the corners than the PSA 4 example featured in this auction, this PSA 6 graded 1950 Topps Felt Back card of Joe Paterno clocks in as one of the best, with only nine others graded higher. Most of the examples from this very frail series show heavy chipping and wear, but this one earns such a high grade for its retention of bold blue color and relatively squared appearance. A superior example from a very tough and elusive series.
