Edwin "Duke" Snider finished his career with a lifetime .295 average and 407 home runs, but his importance to the championship Dodgers squads of the 1950s helped lead to a 1980 induction into Cooperstown. The offered 1954 Topps card shows the "Silver Fox" in sharp detail, accentuated with deep blue and green pigments as well as the bright white of the three sided border. The top corners exceed the NM/MT grade, offsetting the slight centering toward the right edge. A very pleasing example for the grade.
