Throwing out the first pitch at the 1953 All-Star game on this 1959 Fleer card, Ted Williams is greeted in appropriately heroic fashion following his return from the Korean War, his second stint in combat in less than a decade. This example is graded PSA 9 and features a fantastic artist's rendering of "The Splendid Splinter," near perfectly centered with MINT endpoints and a problem-free reverse.
