A well-recognized shortstop in Washington (but apparently not at Topps headquarters because the image on this card is actually that of Don Johnson), Pete Runnels is presented (sort of) with this 1953 Topps card, graded PSA 8. Though positioned just a hair northwestward, which you might not even have noticed, the otherwise above-grade features makes the overall assessment conservative. A high-end specimen for the grade.
