Though not as difficult or pricey as high numbers from the 1952 set, the final cards of the 1953 Topps collection still pose some interesting challenges. The offered Al Sima card resides in a PSA 8 NM/MT holder, centered to near perfection and sporting at-or above-grade corners and edges. The player’s image is delightfully colorful and focused, protected with a healthy dose of original gloss, and offers tremendous overall visual appeal. A piece certainly worthy of a first-class set.
