Goodbye "Commerce Comet," hello "Mr. October." Though Mickey Mantle had already announced his retirement, Topps gave him a farewell tribute with one more hurrah in the 1969 Topps set. The bright clean design, second-year appearance of Nolan Ryan and debut card of Reggie Jackson makes it a fine collection to close out the 1960s.
