While his name rarely comes up among the greats in the game today, second baseman Robinson Cano has been building a resume that could land him in the baseball Hall of Fame. A steady offensive threat for 14 seasons thus far, Cano has never hit less than 10 homers in a season, popping 25 or more round-trippers six times while consistently hovering at or above the .300 mark. At 35 years old, he should have a few more solid seasons to improve upon his 311 career homers and lifetime .304 batting average; righteous numbers for a second baseman. Cano wielded this model G174 Louisville Slugger during his World Series run with the New York Yankees in 2009 and comes with a certificate from Cano verifying it and describing 2009 as "my best overall season ever." He even autographed the bat in silver marker with an inscription, "2009 WS Game Used 27 Championship." bat and cleat marks cover the surface, removing some of the black finish in spots around the barrel. An excellent game from a likely Cooperstown resident. LOA from John Taube - PSA/DNA with a grade of PSA/DNA GU 10.
