A lock Hall of Famer, Albert Pujols has spent the better part of his career posting numbers comparable to the immortal Lou Gehrig. A three-time National League MVP, Pujols delivered at least 32 home runs, 100 RBI and batted over .310 in each of his first 10 years, earning him the nickname "The Machine." Now 38 years old and still going strong, Pujols ranks #6 all-time with 633 homers, #7 all-time with 1,982 RBI and has already passed the 3,000 hit mark. The featured Marucci AP5-M Custom Cut bat is a beauty, wielded by Pujols during the 2010 season when he led the National League with 42 homers and 118 RBI. The bat is uncracked and displays excellent evidence of game use, with ball and ball stitch marks, cleat marks and an impression from a weighted batting sleeve, with a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle. A marking on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat, a requirement by Major League Baseball for all maple bats used after 2009. The knob carries the date of manufacture (6/2/10) and Pujols' jersey number "5." The bat is 34 inches, weighs 32.3 ounces and is autographed in silver marker with a "game used" inscription. A wonderful gamer from arguably the greatest hitter of the past 25 years, authenticated by John Taube - PSA/DNA with an impressive GU 9.5 grade as well as a COA from Albert Pujols.
