Not exactly a household name but Clayton Tonnemaker was a College Football Hall of Famer out of Minnesota who played for three seasons in Green Bay and started every game. He didn't hit the field for the Packers until 1950 but appeared in the Leaf football set, and this example is one of the finest on record at PSA. Good centering for the issue, unusually deep, bold colors and bonafide NM endpoints make it a perfect candidate for a highly-ranked set.
