It turns out that the gray borders of 1970 Topps baseball cards are just as susceptible to chipping as the black-bordered 1971 set, and with a whopping 720 subjects, is enough to scare many a collector away from the challenge. This complete collection grades approximately 15% NM/MT or better, 30% NM, 30% EX/MT and 25% EX with two cards PSA graded: #50 Clemente and 500 Mays, both PSA 8.
