If this image looks a little familiar to you, you're probably well-schooled in tobacco cards as it's the original type I photo used to make Earl Gardner's T205 card. Looking off to his left, the image of Gardner is quite sharp given the time period, and properly captures the mood of the Highlanders second baseman (soon to become the New York Yankees). A nice find for any vintage photo collector. The Paul Thompson stamp is on the reverse and the photo measures 6 5/8 x 8 1/2. LOA from PSA/DNA.
