The 1963 Fleer set is loaded with Hall of Famers but quality control issues, mostly poor centering and stray print, keep the number of GEM MINT examples in the series well under 1% of all the cards PSA has graded. This example of Brook Robinson is one of the great exceptions to the rule, matching just 3 others at PSA's top grade. It's not difficult to see how this card defied the odds, with GEM MINT corners, a robust central image, perfect centering a deep green border on the reverse that is resistant of chipping. It looks like someone jockeying for position on the PSA Set Registry is about to land a big fish!
