Positioned just a touch toward the bottom edge but otherwise offering above-grade NM+ to NM/MT features in virtually every other respect, this 1916 M101-4 Sporting Life card of Hall of Famer Walter Johnson is particularly appealing due to the sharp black and white image that is imprinted upon the pasteboard with scintillating registration. For a card well over a century in age, the magnificent depiction of "The Big Train" is more precise than issues dating well into the 1950s. A true classic that will enhance any vintage collection.
