As they did with the 1960 baseball series, the 1963 Topps hockey set features an all horizontal format. The 66-card set includes rookie cards of Ed Johnston, Eddie Westfall, and Gilles Villemure in addition to highly coveted Hall of Famers Hull, Mikita, and Plante, among others. The featured 1963 Topps set is complete with almost a third of the collection PSA/SGC graded, including four PSA 9 MINT examples: #2 Johnson RC (one graded higher), 7 Green (one of 5, none graded higher), 14 Leiter (two graded higher) and 41 Maki (none graded higher). Other graded cards are PSA 8 #33 Hull, 36 Mikita, 44 and 46 Villemure, PSA 7.5 #63 Ratelle, PSA 7 #43 and 57 Gilbert, PSA 6 #23 Hall, 37 and 45 Plante, and PSA 4 #8 Westfall. Also included are SGC 88 NM/MT 8 #51, 52 Bathgate and 58, with an SGC 84 NM 7 #39 Nesterenko. The rest of the set is 15% NM or better, 25% EX/MT, 45% EX and 15% lower with #1 Schmidt VG/EX, 11 Bucyk NM+ (OC), 21 Bruins EX/MT+, 47 Harvey EX/MT and 66 Checklist (unmarked, trimmed)
