Near perfectly centered with mild rough-cut edges, this significant 1948 Bowman rookie card of Stan "The Man" Musial also touts tremendous focus for the issue as well as contrast of the very finest caliber. The reverse appears to be immaculate, the deep black print of the bio radiating off of the clean, slate gray surface that epitomizes pack-freshness. This is an exceptionally sharp, high-grade example from the set that brought mainstream baseball cards back from near extinction in the wake of WWII. Graded SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5, it certainly earns every bit of that lofty distinction.
