Almost unanimously considered by experts to be the greatest player in NBA history, Michael Jordan never flashed the dominant numbers attributed to such legends as Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell, but when it came to winning, Jordan has no equal. Six times Jordan went to the NBA finals and six times he came away with the trophy. Had he not taken a year hiatus to try his hand with a bat and ball, it's very likely that "MJ" would have captured seven straight NBA championships. Jordan led the league in scoring for seven straight seasons, then after his season playing baseball, returned for four more seasons and led the league the last three of them. Following three years of retirement, "His Airness" returned at age 38 and still flashed over 20 points per game for two years with the Wizards. The featured jersey was worn by Michael Jordan during the 1989-90 season when MJ was on his way to capturing his third consecutive scoring crown, a MacGregor Sand Knit size 44 with the MacGregor size and exclusivity tags on the front left tail accompanied by team stitched "89" and "2" LB" swatches added. Jordan has signed the jersey in black marker on the front beneath is familiar "23" (full LOA from JSA) and light use is evident, warranting a grade of A5 from MEARS (LOA from Troy Kinunen/MEARS). A fantastic gamer from the game's greatest icon!
