Considered by many experts as "The original Ty Cobb," Philadelphia outfielder "Sliding Billy" Hamilton ranks #7 all-time as a career .344 hitter and led the league in walks five times, putting him on base enough to use his tremendous speed and break the 100 stolen base mark four times, finishing his career behind only Rickey Henderson and Ty Cobb with 914 swiped bases. Featured here on his rookie card from the N172 Old Judge series, one of three graded SGC 60 EX 5 with none graded higher by either SGC or PSA, the image of the super speedster is clearly delivered and the perimeter is impressively squared given it's excessive age. The surfaces are sufficiently clean and the overall presentation is remarkable. An amazing rookie card of an often forgotten Hall of Fame talent.
