All of the Ty Cobb cards in the T206 series are iconic, but the green background portrait card is the toughest and most revered of the quartet. This PSA 3 beauty of "The Georgia Peach" is a terrific addition to a top-notch vintage card collection. The surface is beaming with rich green color and the perimeter, expectedly worn at the endpoints, is very consistent with no glaring weakness to draw your attention. The centering favors the top edge, keeping an otherwise VG/EX specimen from rising above the technical rank of VG. The Piedmont reverse is expertly presented with deep blue pigmentation on a surprisingly bright canvas. A very appealing specimen that offers tremendous value.
