The T206 Walter Johnson card is considered his rookie issue, sharing the distinction with the T204 Ramly issue of the same year, and predated only by postcard issues from Novelty Cutlery and The Rose Company. Here is an incredible example of Walter Johnson's T206 "Portrait" variation with a Sweet Caporal back that has been graded AUTHENTIC by PSA. This specimen offers a precise depiction of Johnson's fiery orange hair that contrasts sharply with his steely eyes. The bottom two corners are EX/MT overall but the top two are more in line with NM/MT to MINT guidelines, leaving the overall assessment at around NM to NM+ from an eye-appeal standpoint.
