While the famous Black Swamp Find yielded many high-grade examples of Hans Wagner from the E98 Set of 30, it appears that the source wasn't entirely exhausted. Offered here is a recently graded example not from that original marketing, but surfacing some time later, graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Like the others that were unearthed back in 2012, this one looks like it could have been printed yesterday, not 112 years ago. The image of the Flying Dutchman is delivered in astonishing clarity and detail, and the maroon red backdrop shows absolutely no signs of fading over the years. All four corners easily meet or exceed the parameters for the assigned grade, and borders are an alabaster white with no errant print marks. The reverse is clean and boldly impressed, adding even more allure to this exciting collectible. If you missed out on the bidding ten years ago, not to worry. We've got you covered with an example that is every bit as impressive as those from the initial fabled discovery.
