Distributed by Obermuller & Son of New York, the offered CDV depicts heavyweight champion James Jeffries in a photograph affixed to a mount. Statistics printed on the reverse run through August of 1904 and list a loss to Jack Munroe on December 10, 1903 which was an exhibition fight and did not count against his official record. The mount has two corner bends and some paper loss on the reverse where it appears a circular sticker was removed but the image of the legendary brawler is clear and detailed.
